This painting was commissioned for a Master bedroom in a luxury unit with an oversize headboard. As a ground floor unit, it was a bit dark, and the owner loves color. Choosing gardenias as a subject let me introduce a lot of white with color within, blue to allude to the outdoors, and wood grain to play against various wood grains in the room. SOLD |
