Joe's Beach House, a commissioned piece, brought back memories of Mr. White’s house. Whenever my friend and I went to the stretch of beach now occupied by 505 Front Street, we played Sakura, and Mr. White (who had white hair and lived in a rather dark beach shack) came out to chat. Still physically fit, he loved his life on the beach. |
